D&A Machine Shop is located in Canton Georgia and is a family owned business that has been in operation for over 20 years at the same location.
D&A was started by Donny Key in the late 1980's
Donny worked at several automotive dealerships as a line mechanic as well as serving as the shop forman at
Benson Chevrolet, Tom Jumper Chevrolet, and Saab Atlanta.

After leaving Saab Atlanta , Donny started his own business, D&A Automotive.
In a short time this evolved into D&A Machine Shop.

Although Donny's son Andy was only a few years old when D&A Automotive was started, Donny hoped Andy would
one day join him in the family business. Thus the name D&A , which is short for Donny & Andy.
Andy started working with Donny in the shop at a very early age. By the age of twelve he built his first engine.

Today, Donny and Andy still work together and look forward to some day adding a third generation to the business.
Andy's son Everett while only four years old shows a marked interest in anything mechanical.
